Creamy Chicken-Basil Pita

Yield: 4 pitas

  • 400 g chicken breasts, in strips
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup basil, chopped
  • 200 g cream
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 pita breads, halved
  • Creamy Chipotle Sauce

  1. Over a big sized, lightly oiled skillet, add chicken and cook in medium heat for 3 minutes, stirring constantly
  2. Add onions and cook for 2 more minutes, then add basil and cook until chicken is done, about 5 more minutes
  3. Add cream and cook in low heat until almost all liquid is gone. Season with salt and pepper
  4. Add chicken over pita and grill until slightly browned
