Again, this recipe comes from Patricia, a good friend with an italian boyfriend... a very selective one when it comes to food, specially italian!
Ingredients:
Yield: 2 servings
Ingredients:

- 400 g natural tomato puree
- 1 can of tuna
- 300 g pasta
- 1 teaspoon dry oregano
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 100 g Parmesan cheese, shredded
- Over a slightly oiled medium sized skillet, cook onion, until slightly yellow; add puree, oregano and season with salt and pepper; turn the heat to low and cook for another 6 minutes, or until sauce is thick. Add tuna and mix
- Cook pasta as directed. Add sauce over pasta, add olive oil and mix carefully. Add cheese on top and serve immediately

I'm always looking for new recipes for tuna, since it seems like we make the same tuna salad over and over again. I wouldn't have thought to put it with a red sauce, but this sounds really good!
ReplyDeleteLooks yummy!
