This is a recipe my mother gave me; I make it, use what I need and freeze the rest for another occasion. You can use it with pasta, chicken, any type of fish, vegetables or over bread, among other things!

- 1 cup fresh basil
- 1 large garlic clove
- 3/4 cup salted pistachios
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- Blend the basil, garlic, pistachio and olive oil together

I love fresh basil and pistachios. I will have to give this a try.
