Homemade Pistachio Pesto

This is a recipe my mother gave me; I make it, use what I need and freeze the rest for another occasion. You can use it with pasta, chicken, any type of fish, vegetables or over bread, among other things!

Ingredients:
Yield: 3/4 cup

  • 1 cup fresh basil
  • 1 large garlic clove
  • 3/4 cup salted pistachios
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

  1. Blend the basil, garlic, pistachio and olive oil together
