Double Chocolate Pancakes with Raspberry Honey Sauce

Double Chocolate Pancakes:
Yield: 8 Pancakes

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons cocoa
  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

  1. In a big bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, sugar and cocoa. Add milk, egg and butter and beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Fold in chocolate chips
  2. Over a medium sized, lightly oiled skillet, add 1/4 cup for each pancake and cook in medium heat; when small bubbles appear over the pancake, flip it to the other side. Serve hot

Raspberry Honey Sauce

  • 4 tablespoons raspberry jelly
  • 2 tablespoons honey

  1. Mix raspberry and honey and serve with pancakes
