Ingredients:
Yield: 2 Bagel halves
Yield: 2 Bagel halves
- 1 bagel
- 4 teaspoons pesto
- 60 g mozzarella cheese, cubed
- 6 cherry tomatoes, sliced
- 4 fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Spread 2 teaspoons pesto on each bagel half. Add half the mozzarella to one bagel and the rest to the other one. Ad tomatoes, and top with basil leaves
- Heat in the oven until cheese is melted
Mmmm.... Yummy! Sounds so good. I always wanted to try them, but didn' t have the oven. Good you remind me :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks so simple to make and outrageously good. I have to remember to buy pesto (it's a mission for me b/c I'm allergic to nuts, and almost all brands put pine nuts in it).

ReplyDeleteI used to make pizza bagels all the time. So fun! Great reminder. I love the pesto idea, too. I have some pesto in the freezer that I made this summer and we just made a regular pizza with it this week. I always forget about pesto on pizza. YUM!
