Tomato & Mozzarella Bagel

Yield: 2 Bagel halves

  • 1 bagel
  • 4 teaspoons pesto
  • 60 g mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 6 cherry tomatoes, sliced
  • 4 fresh basil leaves, chopped

  1. Spread 2 teaspoons pesto on each bagel half. Add half the mozzarella to one bagel and the rest to the other one. Ad tomatoes, and top with basil leaves
  2. Heat in the oven until cheese is melted

  1. Mmmm.... Yummy! Sounds so good. I always wanted to try them, but didn' t have the oven. Good you remind me :)

  2. That looks so simple to make and outrageously good. I have to remember to buy pesto (it's a mission for me b/c I'm allergic to nuts, and almost all brands put pine nuts in it).

  3. These are so cute!! And the tomatoes look so fresh - not like the unripe pink winter tomatoes that are always sold here in Michigan. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Yummy looking! TFS

  5. Looks great! What a cute idea. Great for summer.

  6. I used to make pizza bagels all the time. So fun! Great reminder. I love the pesto idea, too. I have some pesto in the freezer that I made this summer and we just made a regular pizza with it this week. I always forget about pesto on pizza. YUM!

  7. That looks like a quick a tasty snack! Not to mention pretty!

  8. That looks really good!!! I may have to go buy some bagels later :-)
