Blue Cheese and Honey Pear

This is a very easy, quick and delicious side dish, and the combination of honey and blue cheese just makes it perfect; try using a ripe pear for better results.

4 Servings

  • 2 ripe pears
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry basil
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

  1. Cut pears in half. Pull the seeds out with a spoon, leaving a small hollow space in the middle. Drizzle with oil
  2. Mix the blue cheese, honey and dry basil until well combined
  3. Heat skillet in medium heat. Grill the pears cut side down for 3 minutes or until lightly browned
  4. Pour the blue cheese mixture over the pears. In very low heat, grill the pears cheese side up, and cover with skillet lid, for 2-3 minutes. Serve immediately
